Non loin d'une fontaine sacrée se trouve une chapelle et inversement :

A quelques mètres du sentier cotier, à proximité du cimetière des bateaux , la chapelle N-D de Lanriot est un petit joyau de pierre posé dans écrin au décor printanier.

How peaceful. Beautiful and tranquil.

Yes it is. West of France in Britany.

You are lucky to live in such a lovely place! I had 4 days in Paris 2 years ago and then caught the night train to Barcelona so, sadly, I did not get to see the French countryside. My father is from Guernsey in the Channel Islands - you could see the French coast from my grandmother's attic window!

Répondre, Guernesey has same sea side as Britany. And I think that the habits of people living in Guernesey are quite similar as those living in Britany.

Yes they do have many of the same habits and even speak a type of patois French/English - at least the older people do. They are beautiful islands.

Oh - and I meant to write also that Guernsey has some wonderful old fishing boats!! :-)

it is nice to have roots,futhermore island roots.
